New swimming pool area project

I have decided that I would, for the first time in
years, document a project step by step for any one
who might be interested and of course for my esteemed
clients who can watch the progress and see all the
stages..
I arrived to inspect the pool area which which was still being worked on .
After some discussion it was ascertained that the clients wished to have work similar to another project of mine that they had seen previously (top photo) so its off to the studio to do a quick to scale mock up to get the ball rolling
Basic idea accepted, but a problem with the position of light fittings which were not central.
Not pretty, back to the drawing board.....
The basics having been agreed its on the phone to Russell & Chapple to order specialist synthetic canvas made specifically for these conditions.
The next job is to make a frame which will act as a stretcher for the two canvases which are the same size I will paint one at a time.

The next step is to position the canvasses on site and create trompe l'oeil surrounds and faux stone work on the walls ...to be continued soon,still waiting for the tiling to be finished.....
