Richard Bagguley
is a London based muralist and trompe l'oeil artist. As
well as painting murals in London and the Uk he has painted
murals all over the world spending time working with
renowned trompe l'oeil artist John Pugh in California
and Interior designer Sam Botero in New York.
With over 20 years experience working with faux finishes
and paint effects he has undertaken small local projects in
private residences and large international commissions for
interior designers and commercial projects including
restaurants and night-clubs, completing over 400
commissions in 6 countries.
He is also a trained armourcoat applicator and has a small
team of operatives covering all aspects of Venetian
polished plaster, as well as the normal range of finishes
he creates his own bespoke finishes.
Richard's aim is to bring you a full spectrum of classical
and modern finishes on a large or small scale. Giving you
the breadth to choose from rich roman murals to simple
economic water based specialist paint effects or a stunning
classical mural with trompe l'oeil. For modern interiors
the Venetian polished plaster is spectacular with shinny or
pitted surfaces in a variation of colours.
